作者簡介

克里斯多夫‧鮑里尼（Christopher Paolini）

20歲的美國青年，提筆創作《龍騎士》的時候只有15歲。

鮑里尼從小就住在蒙大拿州的山區小鎮，他的父母選擇親自教導鮑里尼和他的妹妹，所以兄妹倆沒有進過普通學校；他們家中也不看一般電視節目，但是收藏了四千多部錄影帶。

鮑里尼在15歲時通過高中鑑定考試，然後開始撰寫《龍騎士》，首部曲於一年之後完成。如今，他雖然因為此書而蜚聲國際，卻依然和家人住在小屋裡，持續進行創作。
